Packing Tips 101: How to Wear and Secure Your FTM Packer

Packing looks different for everyone, and this guide covers the basics of positioning, support methods, and everyday comfort so you can find what works best for your body and routine.

Position It Right

Make sure your packer feels natural and sits comfortably.

Position it inside the front of your underwear, centered over your pubic area.

Choose Your Method

  • Regular Underwear: Your packer can be worn with everyday underwear. For the most secure fit, choose snug-fitting briefs that provide enough support to keep your packer comfortably in place.
  • Packing Underwear or Pouch: Packing underwear and pouches are specifically designed for packing. They come in several styles depending on how you pack and whether you use a simple packer or an STP.
  • Harness or Jockstrap: A harness or jockstrap provides additional support and can help keep your packer securely positioned during increased movement or activity.
  • Body-Safe Adhesive or Tape: For a low-profile fit, some people use skin-safe medical adhesive or body-safe tape, such as KT tape. Always make sure the product is intended for use on skin, and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Walk, sit, and bend to make sure it stays in place.

Wear regular fitted underwear (briefs) with a soft strapless harness/jock strap underneath for extra security and a natural shape.
